Graham on the Crisis at the Southern Border

WASHINGTON – Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today spoke at a press conference about the crisis at the southern border. Yesterday, Senator Graham introduced a bill to reform broken border policies and stop the rampant abuse of our asylum system.

  • GRAHAM: “The policy changes by the Biden Administration have created the narrative that if you get to America and claim asylum, then you don’t leave. You know why that narrative is there? It’s because it’s true. We need to break that narrative.”
  • GRAHAM: “You have had more Americans killed from fentanyl than any war we have been in in recent memory. This to me is a national security issue as well as a border security issue.”
