Judiciary Committee Advances Nominations for Assistant Attorney General, Mississippi and Louisiana District Courts and Four U.S. Attorneys

WASHINGTON – The Senate Judiciary Committee today advanced the following nominations:

  • Tysen Duva, to be Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division, by a vote of 12-10;
  • Robert P. Chamberlin, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Mississippi, by a vote of 12-10;
  • William J. Crain, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana, by a vote of 12-10;
  • James D. Maxwell II, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Mississippi, by a vote of 12-10;
  • Alexander C. Van Hook, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana, by a vote of 16-6;
  • Erin Creegan, to be United States Attorney for the District of New Hampshire, by a vote of 18-4;
  • Ryan Anthony Kriegshauser, to be United States Attorney for the District of Kansas, by a vote of 12-10;
  • James Kruger, to be United States Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi, by a vote of 12-10; and
  • Scott Leary, to be United States Attorney for the Northern District of Mississippi, by a vote of 17-5.
