The Senate Committee on the Judiciary has scheduled a hearing on the nomination of John G. Roberts, Jr. to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States for Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. in Senate Russell Office Building Room 325. The hearing will be continued on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. in the Senate Hart Office Building Room 216 and throughout the rest of the week.

Chairman Specter will preside.
